The Oakland Hotel - Woodham Ferrers

The Oakland Hotel is a family-run budget hotel situated in the Centre of the riverside town of South Woodham Ferrers, 15 miles from Southend-on-Sea. Close to the River Crouch,rooms have private bathrooms.

Rooms feature a TV, teacoffee making facilities, hairdryers and have free WiFi access.

Oakland Bar is open daily and also shows live sporting events. On Friday Saturday nights the bar has live music until midnight. Quieter rooms can be provided on request but are subject to availability.

Being a town centre hotel, we only have a few parking spaces at the rear of the hotel. However, there is a large carpark opposite the hotel in front of South Woodham police station.

The hotel is 15 minutes from South Woodham Ferrers Rail Station, while South Woodham Swimming Pool and the Club Woodham Fitness are only a minutes walk away. The hotel is within easy reach of A127, A12 and M25. The Hotel has easy access to the Olympic Stadium, with trains from South Woodham Ferrers to Stratford taking 45 minutes.

The hotel day starts from hour 14:00 and ends at 11:00.

Please note that the property is located on upper-level floors with no lift access.

We have live music on Saturday evenings until midnight. If you require a quiet room, please advise at time of booking and we will try our best to accommodate, subject to availability.

Please note that with effect from Monday, 5 June 2023, parking in Tylers Ride in front of the Police Station is available for GBP 2 per night via the QR code from the signs in the car park.

Parking at the Asda store Car Park is available via horizonparking.co.uk for GBP 3.75 per night.

Premier Double Room. Premier Rooms have been refurbished in a contemporary style. ;
Family Room (2 Adults + 2 Children). The family room provides a tea and coffee maker, a wardrobe, as well as a private bathroom featuring a bath and a shower. This family room features a carpeted floor, heating and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The unit offers 2 beds.
